not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little — When the disciples first saw the crowd, their first solution was to buy food for these people. Yet seeing the crowd, they still thought that the food they could buy would not be enough. They had a scarcity mentality. But Jesus had a better, higher solution—He multiplied the food.
