Biodegradable mulch film
Oerlemans Plastics BV has more than 25 years of experience with biodegradable film. The biodegradable mulch film is used for many crops, like melons, lettuce, zucchini, pineapple and many more. The film is 100% biodegradable, will give you less pressure of weed growing and less water is needed per unit. After harvesting, the film together with the crop residue can simply be ploughed into the soil or loosened using a rotary cultivator. The BI-OPL film degrades completely in the soil due to light, oxygen, temperature and microorganisms in the soil. What remains is just CO2, water and humus.
